Get ready to pig out with our Whole or Half Hog Deposit! Secure your share of delicious, pasture raised pork that's sure to make your taste buds squeal with delight. If you’re interested in a whole hog (best value) they are $6.50/lb of hanging weight plus the processors fee($250-$300). Smoking and/or seasoning incur additional fees. We are expecting a hanging weight of 140-160 So an estimated price would be $1,400. This yields about 110-120 lbs of commercial cuts for your freezer. A half hog is $7/lb. With an estimated price of $700. 55lbs for your freezer. We use Piedmont Custom Meats for processing. Check out their website for any processor questions. https://www.piedmontcustommeats.com Additionally, all of our animals are grass fed by rotating them to new pastures often. Our pigs and chickens receive a small amount of Non GMO grain that is locally sourced. This supplements them with the minerals that are lacking in the soil.

About The Sarcastic Sow Farm


The Sarcastic Sow Farm is located in Moore County, NC. We are focused on regenerating our soils and acreage by using an intense, multi-species, rotational grazing program. We also incorporate permaculture techniques such as planting fruit trees in between the grazing paddocks. This add shade and produce for the animals and attracts pollinators. Our Idaho Pasture Pigs are raised outside on pasture and under the sunshine. They live life as a pigs should. They have access to clean water for drinking and wallowing and enjoy belly rubs from all of us. Our pigs and poultry receive a small amount of NON-GMO, no soy, locally sourced grain that includes added minerals to support their health. The resulting pork is tender, marbled, and full of vitamins. We also have pasture raised chicken and duck eggs available. Please contact us for pricing and availability
